What do I love about working in real estate?
Buying and selling a home isn’t actually like what you see on HGTV, as anyone who has gone through this process recently knows. There are many hurdles to jump, obstacles to overcome, and problems to resolve along the way. This is where I shine: I employ a reasonable and logical approach, along with an ability to work “across the aisle” in each transaction, regardless of the challenges or personalities involved, with a little humor thrown in along the way. Making the buying and selling process as smooth and seamless as possible and collaborating on a new chapter in clients’ lives is extremely satisfying.
What makes working at Lisa Wolschina & Associates different in your mind? What benefits do the buyers and sellers get?
Certainly local market knowledge is one of the most important facets of having a successful real estate transaction. That base is covered without question. This team is made up of people who live and breathe local RE on a daily basis. But we also have respect for the people we serve and the people we work with. There is a business and ethical standard that has been established and upheld by the team. In a business that requires sound judgment and doing the right thing on a daily basis, I know I’m surrounded by like-minded colleagues.
Tell us a little about you personally. Background? Where did you grow up? Live? Have kids? Interests?
It was upon the birth of my first child that my mother, Mary Margaret Master, a successful RE agent for years, convinced me to join her. She thought it would be a chance for me to be with the baby but also earn some money. I think it was because she loved the idea of me bringing her first grandchild into work to see her! It was a very successful venture for both of us for many years, as we worked to grow her business and help countless people find and/or sell their homes. 5 years into our collaboration, she got sick and passed away, leaving me to continue her legacy of helping people with the home buying/selling process. 19 years later, I’m still at it. I was raised in Haddon Township and have lived in Haddonfield for 24 years, raising 3 children here. I have enjoyed coaching in youth sports, teaching CCD, and spending time with family and friends in Ocean City. If I’m not working or with my family, I may be playing pickleball.
